B&P Avvocati began operating under the ISO 9001 standards in 1998, and its quality system was certified by DNV Italia in June 2000. The system was brought in line with ISO 9001:2000 in March 2003, in 2010 it was revised in accordance to ISO 9001:2008, and in 2018 it has been adapted to ISO 9001:2015.
The certification was issued for “advice, legal assistance, teaching and the preparation of publications in the field of corporate liability and public services”.
B&P Avvocati’s quality policy establishes that the firm’s activities should be shaped by the following fundamental principles in order to ensure customer satisfaction: professionalism, specialization, efficiency, flexibility, attention to the client’s real needs, and proper management of communication.
For this reason, the Quality Manual and Service Quality Plans establish, for example, that:

– responsibility for each service is assigned exclusively to lawyers with “considerable experience in the areas of specialization, as attested by teaching activity, reports and publications.”

In addition to having law degrees and being entitled to practice law, all B&P Avvocati’s partners have gained particular experience in the firm’s areas of expertise. This experience also derives from giving lectures in postgraduate courses, speaking at conferences and workshops, and writing books and articles for specialist journals.

– Acceptance of all new assignments is preceded by careful examination of the “client’s real, concrete and operational expectations” and an accurate assessment of their compatibility with the firm’s team of professionals.

For this reason, the characteristics of each assignment are formalized in writing in a specific document, and the firm’s entire professional team undergoes continuous training, which is recorded in constantly updated “personal professional profiles” containing details of all specialized training received, any significant professional experience, publications and teaching activities, together with – in the case of non-partners – the “areas of activity where professional autonomy was achieved.”

– The client is ensured prompt, precise information on how an assignment is being carried out, its progress and the results achieved.

A summary of the assignment’s problems and objectives and an indication of the proposed procedural strategy is sent to the client for approval within a short pre-established time from the start of the assignment. The professional team member in charge of the assignment then reports to the client regarding any developments and agrees upon any changes in the objectives and strategy with the client.

Similarly, compliance with all the fundamental principles laid down in the firm’s quality policy is ensured by the procedures established in the quality manual, service quality plans, specific working instructions and management document models.
